Version 3 Release Date is 4/12/19

Hello again Fin’s Fathoms® Fans, we just uploaded our version 3.0 update to both the Android and IOS store!

We are still pending Apples approval but, if all goes well, both the Anroid and IOS versions will be available on 4/12/19!

So, what did we accomplish over the last year?

A Short History of Fin’s Fathoms®: The Fishy Apprentice

Fin’s Fathoms® was just a simple concept back in 2016: Make a fun game (app) that was aggressive and challenging but not dark and gruesome. Some people see bright colors and light-hearted themes and think it’s just for kids but, we beg to differ.  The game was designed for the adult casual player that wants a fun game that they don’t have to commit all of their time to. Simply, a quick escape that people can be proud of and share with anyone.

The simplified controls of a single tap to engage the environment was key for mobile players to quickly pick up on. Once the game passed the initial inner circle debate, the game went into full development in October 2016. The initial year of development lead up to a version 1 release on Android on November 3rd, 2017. The Apple version followed on April 10, 2018.

That same month, in April 2018, the Fin’s Fathoms® team brought an arcade version to the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee, WI. The game won 2018 “NEW ARCADE VIDEO OF THE YEAR” and 2018 People’s Choice “BEST IN SHOW: Single Player Video” arcade game!

The feedback was great and we got a lot of good suggestions at that time.  Version 3 was all about addressing those suggestions, getting rid of bugs, improving performance and taking the look and feel of the game to the next level.

Nearly a year later, we truly believe we achieved our task!

The Future of Fin’s Fathoms®

We’re not done yet.  Version 3 brings the latest chapter of this property but many many things are planned for the future. Big things at that!

The first three versions had big learning curves. We’ve learned a lot over the last couple years and hope to have updates more frequently in the future.
